Dresses

Since my last posts of my dresser, I have refinished a side/accent table for my room along with competely a dress for Miss Layna and I am in the process of finishing a second dress. She loves the first dress and wears it quite often. I was afraid she would like the fabric at the store and not like the dress. Fortunately, the time and energy I put into it wasn't a waste. Yay!  :)  So, now I am onto the second one. I am skip the liner of the skirt, it'll be lighter and air-ier for the summer. I just have the zipper and hem to do and it's all done!

I needed to do another dress because I love sewing. Not really... Layna loves dresses. And if one gets wet or dirty, she needs a new one on, so we go through dresses pretty quickly. Sometimes I can get her to wear a skirt instead - usually the twirl skirt I made her - but she prefers dresses.

Also, I don't mind making Layna dresses and skirts because we always get compliments on them and when I tell the stranger I made them, they are very impresses and I am very proud!  I'm glad people like what I make for my Little Lady.

I simply adore this fabric and wish the designer made coordinating fabric designs
but nope. Probably will use this in my bedroom somewhere....
